Maximum horsepower demands the least possible exhaust back pressure - and the stock cats is an area that can be greatly improved in terms of reducing back pressure for off-road conditions. The APS Test Pipes are the perfect addition for competition events such as drag racing and Autocross where smog compliance is not mandatory. In addition, due to the huge reduction in exhaust gas back pressure, turbocharger response is improved so that not only do the turbochargers deliver higher boost pressure - sooner, but throttle response is also improved.

APS has designed the ultimate set of extreme horsepower test pipes to remove the exhaust gas restriction produced by the stock cats - or indeed smaller tube diameter test pipes. Twin 3.5" pipes crafted in 304 Stainless Steel, precision mandrel formed and TIG welded come complete with all mounting hardware required for easy installation.

By incorporating turbocharger exhaust flanges, the APS 3.5" test pipes mount directly to the APS turbochargers of the APS Intercooled Twin Turbo System and pick up the stock exhaust position at the other end.

Please note that the APS 3.5" Test Pipes are designed to suit the APS Intercooled Twin Turbo system and are not applicable for vehicles that are not fitted with the APS Intercooled Twin Turbo System.

As with all APS exhaust systems, the APS Test Pipes are manufactured precisely in sturdy jigs to ensure that the position and orientation of each and every flange, mount point, sensor boss - and indeed all dimensional aspects of the test pipes meet APS's exacting requirements.
