In modern vehicles, the opening and closing of the throttle plate is not controlled by a direct connection to the gas pedal, but by a small electric motor that is controlled by the vehicle’s ECU. The problem with this is that the action depressing the gas pedal is not always translated immediately into opening the throttle, or even opening it the correct amount. The Blitz Throttle Controller has the ability to change the timing and amount in which the ECU will open the throttle dependant on when and how much you are pressing the gas pedal. This will result in your car responding quicker when the gas pedal is pressed. The sensitivity of the throttle can also be manually adjusted through the controller.
