The Twin Power ignition amplifier incorporates both the CDI and transistor method ignition to provide optimum spark duration and maximum voltage output, resulting in crisper throttle response and a smoother engine powerband. Each Distributor Type unit can be used on most internal and external coil-distributor equipped engines.

Very nice product! I have a SC300 2JZ-GE (w/distributer) and I used the plug-n-play toyota harness with this and it is TRULY PLUG-N-PLAY. I spent the most time trying to figure out where I was gonna mount the box! Box itself is b e a u t i f u l. HKS knows what it's doing. Most people don't mod the ignition on the 2JZ-GE until they're like at 400hp, but here's what I got just on a 2JZ-GE with bolt-ons: *1 extra mpg *VERY smooth idle - at 700rpm there would be slight "misfires" that are common. Now the cars idles at 690-700 smooth as glass, and I know b/c i've got Kazama engine mounts! *Very noticable pickup in acceleration above 4500 - I have intake and FULL exhaust and the car just ROARS I can assure you, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR I need to get one of these for my integra!
