I spoke to the Tomei designer about this particular exhaust manifold and the unequal length design also. First Tomei is a very well respected designer for performance parts and these headers are exceptional, they designed the Equal Length headers to provide the most power possible through the mid and high power-band, if you are seeking that extra edge and have a little bit of extra money to spend on this header it is worth it. it is not unusual to gain 30-50 hp from a Tomei Manifold.
