As opposed to the single exhaust entry turbine housing on the previous GDB model, the newer GDB STi models have a twin-entry (twin scroll) design, created for smoother exhaust gas entry to the turbine housing, removing the interference caused by the motors naturally alternating exhaust pulses. The Zero/Sports A/R25 Turbo allows for improved torque response through low and mid ranges. The Turbo spool is drastically improved by the use of a a ball bearing design and a 70mm compressor wheel that easily supports 400+ horsepower and consistent power throughout the entire RPM range.
